Society Hill Winter
| I wanted to capture some of the darkness and iciness of winter here in Philadelphia. I took a silhouette photo of the Society Hill (Old City) skyline and superimposed a close-up of windowpane frost on a separate layer. I then blacked out the frost covering the buildings with a brush, and used a bird-shaped brush to make a familiar line of migrating Canadian Geese. I finally fashioned the full moon from a round, feathered selection filled with light yellow. A little tinkering in Photoshop can sometimes make for an interesting evening ;-) |
